Car Slams Into Building on Academy Avenue in Providence

A car crashed into Mt. Pleasant True Value Hardware on Academy Avenue in Providence early Sunday morning.
According to Providence City Councilman Michael Correia, despite heavy damage to the vehicle — and building — the driver walked away from the scene uninjured
"Motorists failed to stop approaching Academy Ave from Roanoke Street and hit the building," said Correia.
