PVD Vegan Restaurant Week Kicks Off — 30 Participating Restaurants

PVD Vegan Restaurant Week kicked-off on World Vegan Day on Friday, and Like No Udder’s Karen Krinksy joined GoLocal LIVE to talk about the offerings at the participating restaurants.
“Rhode Island being a food state, why not showcase what people are offering?” said Krinsky, who said that the week is modeled after other vegan weeks around the country.
Krinsky noted the rise in veganism’s popularity — including “Impossible” meatless burgers being featured now at fast food chains around the country — and spoke to how restaurants participating in PVD Restaurant Week range from strictly vegan establishments, to those that offer non-vegan fare as well.
