Mars

Meet Mars! We love Itty Bitty Pitties and she is no exception! Mars is about 2 years of age. She's an active girl with an enormous personality. She adores playing, goofing off and cuddles (preferably in that order). We recommend Teens and adults and no cats for this gal. However, other playful dogs could be a good match! We have Mars on some medication for itchy skin and ears so her new humans will need to continue treatment.

Josie

Meet Josie! Josie is 2 years old, super friendly and affectionate. Her energy level is high, so she would LOVE an active person who enjoys adventure time. Josie has walked with dogs here at PARL and done well! However, she has the tendency to overwhelm dogs with her exuberant greetings. Josie would do best in a home without other pets - but with further socialization and training, play dates with family/friends' dogs would be fun! Teens and adults are the best fit.

Hazel

Meet Hazel! This 6 year old cutie is currently in a foster home while she awaits an adopter. Hazel loves nothing more than to cuddle up next to you for belly rubs! She recently recovered from a surgery on one of her ears (a Total Ear Canal Ablation) as a result of chronic ear infections. As of right now, Hazel does not need surgery on her other ear and she is doing well on daily medications. Potential adopters should know that Hazel is deaf, will require medication throughout her lifetime, and may need additional veterinary care in the future. She would love an adults-only home and gets along well with other dogs! If you're interested in Hazel, please give us a call and we can schedule a time for you to meet her.

Papa & Ruby

Meet Papa and Ruby! Papa (10yr) and Ruby (4yr) were surrendered together (father/daughter) both pitty type mixes– these two seem to really love each other and when together show affectionate behavior. We would be delighted if someone wanted to take them both. Ruby is more high energy and Papa is laid back. Both Papa and Ruby are very people social and love pets and attention. Ruby's skin is dry/flakey with some patchy hair loss. She is on antibiotics and will need continued TLC for her skin. If Ruby goes home without Papa, being the only pet is best. We are open to Papa living with other dogs. Interested in the father daughter duo? Come down to PARL and meet them today!

Sophie & DJ

Say hello to the most adorable mother-daughter pair, Sophie & DJ. They are inseparable, literally—look at their picture. Sophie and DJ are hoping to find a home together. These two quiet ladies might be a little shy at first, but their personalities shine bright once they are comfortable with you.

Sophie & DJ is a part of our Special Adoptions program “PARL Pals”
Some animals, like people, just belong together. PARL Pals are pets that may have lived together all of their lives or maybe they just bonded during their stay at our shelter. Either way, we just can’t bear to see them separated! It’s our hope that a special adopter will feel the same way as we do and adopt them together. To make the deal even sweeter, we’ve made their adoption fees a 2-for-1 deal!

Mimi

Hi, I'm Mimi! I'm a 1-year-old female cat. I have very little experience interacting with people so I would like a quiet home where I can have my space to snooze and wander. In terms of my personality, I'm a private investigator. I'm working undercover to keep an eye on you and your household. You may not even know you're under surveillance. I can vanish into thin air if anyone or anything interferes with my investigation. If you need a cat who knows how to stay out of trouble and will always keep your secrets, I just might take your case.

Alley Cat

Hi, I'm Alley Cat! I'm a young male cat found by my PARL friends as a stray. I love to talk to you and need a little work on my manners, but I have a lot of love to give (and pets to accept)! I might be okay in a home with another animal, depending on the cat or dog in question, but I'd do best in a home without children. In terms of my personality, I’m a cat on a mission: PARTY! I love to play and explore and test my limits. I’d love to play with you, but I can make a toy out of anything: pencils, post-it notes, potatoes. If you’re looking for some laughs and someone to liven up the party, think about inviting me.

Tom

Hi, my name is Tom! I’m a large 2 year old male cat! I would do best in an adult-only home and as an only pet. Personality-wise, I'm a cat who does everything in a big way. I not only like to be in the middle of things - I like to lead the parade. I'm an adventurous cat, but I'll still make plenty of time to show you my affectionate side. I'm the demonstrative type, you might say. Want a cat who's brimming with confidence? That's me.

Tiffani

Hi, my name’s Tiffani and I’m a 3 year old female cat. You’re sure to notice me around town because I’m super vocal and I’ll come right up to meet you! I sometimes hiss because I get surprised by fast movements but it’s only because I get a little confused and overwhelmed! I would do best as an only pet in the home and in a home with older children. Once I get to know you, my personality is best described as an MVP. I'm a savvy cat who knows the score. I don't mind entertaining myself, but a human companion at the other end of the couch and a nice scratch behind the ears always make my day. If you're looking for a resourceful addition to your team, think about signing this Most Valuable Pussycat. Come meet me today!
