Former Providence College star Bryce Cotton has found a home in the NBA, agreeing to terms on a 2-year contract with the World Champion San Antonio Spurs.

Cotton reportedly made his final decision between the Spurs and the Dallas Mavericks.  Cotton went undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft.

The chance to play right away isn't out of the question for Cotton, as the Spurs have backup point guard Patty Mills hitting free agency with a torn rotator cuff that will keep him out until January.  Whether or not Mills is a Spur, there are minutes to be had behind Tony Parker.

Cotton scored nearly 2,000 points in his 4-year Friars career, and averaged 21.8 points per game last season as a senior.

The Spurs open Summer League play July 11th.  Cotton will need a strong perfromance this summer to earn a roster spot.
