NEW: Brown Edges Princeton 38-31 for First Conference Win

The Brown University Bears ( 3-2,1-1 Ivy) defeated (4-1, 1-1 Ivy) Princeton 38-31 on Saturday afternoon at Brown Stadium. The Bears have now won three straight games after starting the season 0-2.
With the game tied at 31, the Brown Bears took over possession from the Princeton 42 yard line with 1:57 left to play in the game. Bears quarterback Marcus Fuller found Alex Jette for a 17 yard pass and from there, Johnny Pena did the rest.
After rushes for 4, 12 and 2 yards, Pena found his way to the end zone for a 7 yard touchdown run putting the Bears up 38-31 with 57 seconds left in the game.

The Numbers
Marcus Fuller went 29-42 for 285 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions while Troy Doles led all receivers with 104 yards on six catches and a touchdown.
Running backs Johnny Pena and Andrew Coke finished with 14 and 13 carries for 45 and 99 yards respectively.
The Brown defense held Princeton to just 74 rushing yards and registered four sacks, costing Princeton 32 yards.

The Bears continue their Ivy league schedule when they visit Cornell on Saturday, October 24. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m.
