Bowen's Wharf 42nd Annual Christmas Tree Lighting
Saturday Get down to Bowen’s Wharf to welcome in the holiday season with a traditional tree lighting, plus a few guests. Meet Frosty the Snowman, enjoy local music, and join in a Christmas Carol Sing-a-long. Stay for the Christmas Tree lighting and Santa and Mrs. Claus’ sail into Bowen's Basin. 6pm. Free. 30th Annual Foundry Artist Show
Friday-Sunday One of the biggest holiday arts & crafts fairs in the region, the Foundry Artist Show is the perfect place to view new works, support local artists, and find that unique, handmade gift for someone special this season. First Annual Bowl for Wishes
Saturday Providence College students are hosting their first Annual Bowl for Wishes fundraiser! Join them for a day of bowling, food, prizes, and raffles. Rossini by Candlelight
Saturday As part of Christmas in Newport, Swanhurst Chorus, Newport County's standing choral ensemble for 84 years, will be performing Rossini by Candlelight under conductor Jonathan Babbitt. Singing the romantic Petite Messe Solennelle by Rossini, Swanhurst is something musical you don’t want to miss this weekend. Doors 7:30 pm, Concert 8 pm.
