Alex and Ani Creates Limited Edition Charms for Newport Festivals

The Newport Folk and Jazz Festivals have always been fashionable events, but this year, just buying a pass gets you a stylish, limited-edition collectors item.
Alex and Ani, the RI-based designer and manufacturer of eco-friendly, high-style charms, bracelets, and other jewelry, has created and is readying 40,000 specialty charms for every ticket buyer for the Festivals this year, as part of its sponsorship of the events.
The positive energy company is a proud sponsor of both the Newport Folk Festival, July 30th – 31st, which is SOLD OUT, and the Newport Jazz Festival, August 5th – 7th.
"Charming" wrist bands
Carolyn Rafaelian, owner of Alex and Ani, designed and custom-created these limited edition charms available exclusively at the 2011 Newport Folk Festival, Newport Jazz Festival, and the Alex and Ani Newport store at One Bowen’s Wharf (where Newport Jazz tickets are still available). In addition, each charm will be fastened to the access bands given to guests as their point of entry. In a buying mood? Now's the time. If you spend $75 at the Alex & Ani store and present your receipt at the Ticket Office, you'll get $10 off general admission to the festivals.
